Circulating Acid Injection
The Heron circulating acid dosing system is designed for the acidification of water storage tanks.
Venturis are used to dose acid providing a rugged design with minimum moving parts.
No seals or moving parts are in contact with the concentrated acid so no routine maintenance is required. There is minimal user handling of acid. There is no foot valve in the acid tank No dilution of acid is required. Acid always drains safely back into the acid barrel.
- 60% nitric acid can be dosed reducing the size of the acid storage area.
- 2 pH probes are used for security.
- pH can be controlled down to pH 6.0 or lower depending upon the size of the tank.
